New River Abortion Access Fund is managed by a small group of dedicated volunteers, which is why your support is essential to the success of our mission. We are always looking for new volunteers to help us build power, share resources, and to develop systems of mutual aid and community care.

We need folks with skill sets, training, and/or previous experience in the following areas: strategic planning, marketing, media & communications, graphic design, networking, organizing, fundraising, accounting/finance, tech support, web development, translation services, nonprofit leadership, and volunteer management.

Volunteer opportunities:

Join the Board of Directors
Become a helpline volunteer. We are seeking intake volunteers to respond to requests for funding on the helpline a few days each week. If you have a reliable vehicle and a safe driving record, we are looking for drivers who can offer rides to the nearest clinic. If you have a spare room or Airbnb listing to donate on occasion, please let us know.
Join the communications team. Design and create social media content, manage social media accounts, update the website, write blog posts, op-eds, and newsletters, handle media relations, media strategy, and other communications.
Join the fundraising team. Grassroots fundraising, annual Fund-a-Thon, donor cultivation and management, grow and maintain the donor database, research prospect donors, handle event planning & logistics, host house parties and happy hours.
