Screening of Birthright: A War Story

Join the Blue Ridge Abortion Fund and the New River Abortion Access Fund for a screening of the documentary Birthright: A War Story and a talk-back panel. Birthright follows the stories of people seeking abortions and the multi-level government repression they face, which creates what filmmaker Civia Tamarkin calls, “a public health crisis,” turning pregnant people into criminals.
A discussion panel will follow the film featuring local reproductive health providers and advocates, as well as members of the Blue Ridge Abortion Fund and New River Abortion Access Fund.
