Virtual Happy Hour & Film Screening: Roe v. Wade Anniversary Celebration

Happy hour from 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm. Join the New River Abortion Access Fund for drinks, music, and lively conversation as we celebrate the 48th anniversary of Roe v. Wade.

At 7:00 pm, watch the film “Ask for Jane.” When a pregnant university student in 1968 attempts to take her own life, her friends Rose and Janice find a doctor willing to perform an illegal abortion to save her. Sparked by this experience, they form the Jane Collective: a secret organization to help women obtain safe abortions in a time when they were punishable by a prison sentence.
